Hoyts will create a Marketing campaign around every movie that is released. Depending on the target demographic they may run a competition to create hype, or push it in Xtremescreen or IMAX if suitable to drive ticket sales.
My work is designed to create eye-catching, attention-grabbing visuals by utilising the movie key art to promote the movie. The aim is to convince customers to see it at Hoyts and not go to competitors. Challenges include finding a harmony between the Distributor's requests to stay true to the movie, whilst maintaining a strong Hoyts branding that our customers are familiar with. Ensuring successful cut-through is vital as this artwork will compete with surrounding material on site.
