Hoyts Australia and Val Morgan have united. It was necessary to rebrand and communicate the new combined office culture and philosophy to the staff. This collateral was to be internal, displayed in Head Office and on site for cinema staff as well as through EDMs. Although each company has it's own motto and collateral, the branding and colour scheme must be consistent across both.
As an entertainment brand the material must show personality and feel welcoming, encouraging and evoke a sense of unity. It is also designed to push and inspire staff to achieve and go beyond targets. We were lucky enough to shoot on location with real staff members and ended up with some beautiful photography to support the quotes and background stories from the staff. This created a nice personal touch.
The company code is based on five values:
