To create Valentine's Day themed e-gift cards for sale in cinema and on the Hoyts online store. To promote the gift cards is supporting POS material in both digital and print format.
Let's face it, Valentine's Day artwork can be corny. Too predictable, unoriginal and cliché. I took a fresh approach. I avoided pink, roses and chocolates. Instead I used handmade lettering made from 3D-looking love hearts to create cheeky, fun headlines. I also used imagery that tied back to movies and cinema in the gift cards, such as creating a heart out of Choc Tops and scattering popcorn throughout the artwork.
