Mate Night Monday is a male equivalent of the current HOYTS Girls' Night Out. The idea is to encourage group bookings for a bunch of friends to see a selected movie that Hoyts feels will sell well for that target market.
A strong, clean, bold sans serif font is used as the base with illustrated stick-figures that play with and work in to the letterforms. Bold black and yellow colours were inspired by pedestrian street signage.
